After opening some presents on Christmas morning it was time to “help” Mom in the kitchen with Christmas dinner.  This is a long video, so it will take some time to download.  Talk about having kids running around “under foot”.

Still in his pajamas Jack starts opening gifts on Christmas morning.  The wrapping paper makes a cool sound if you beat on it with the palm of your hand!  Thanks to all of you who sent gifts.  Jack has been having fun discovering them and then rediscovering them these last few days.

Jack sure enjoyes diving back and forth between Mom and Dad.

Jack’s first birthday has been a great day.  Mom decorated the house and made cupcakes while Jack was taking his morning nap.

Jack got to open his Christmas present from his Great Mimi (Lindsay’s Grandmother) a little early.  Here he is trying on the new coat that also came with a hat and gloves.  Lindsay clearly approves!
 

We have had a remarkably mild winter.  Several days last week the temperature in Greenwood was in the upper 70s and one day made it into the low 80s.  The week before however we did have a few cloudy, breezy days when I had to bundle Jack up a bit when we went for our run.  [...]

Jack’s first taste of Christmas cookies.  He did seem to enjoy them, but wasn’t super excited.  Almost as if to say, “Yea these sugar cookies are okay, but where is the chocolate I’ve heard so much about?”

As many of you already know the Sherrard computer spend a couple weeks “in the shop” being repaired, so I am just now able to add things to the blog again.  This picture was taken on December 1st.  Jack was quite interested in checking out the Christmas tree even before it had lights and ornaments [...]
